FRANKFURT, June 28 (Reuters) – Germany’s monetary market watchdog BaFin on Monday granted the cryptocurrency change Coinbase permission to offer crypto custody providers and proprietary buying and selling, the primary licence it has issued for such enterprise in Germany.
The licence permits Coinbase Germany GmbH to conduct proprietary buying and selling of crypto belongings, BaFin added.
Coinbase, which went public earlier this 12 months, didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark.
